7-Day Special Camp
The 7-Day NSS Special Camp took place in the villages of Road Jakkasandra and Devarakaggalahalli, Kanakapura Taluk, Ramanagara District in Karnataka. The day of February 27th 2023 marked the inauguration of the camp event. The valedictory ceremony was held on March 5th, after a course of 7 days. Student volunteers were selected from all departments of the college for the camp. The volunteers and faculty travelled 35 kilometers from the college premises to these villages every day for 7 days.

Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering – NSS Unit had organized /Shramadhana Shibira/ Educational Awareness Program/ Free Dental Check up/ Free Book Distribution to school students on 10 th February 2020 to 16 th February 2020. Associated Government Primary school, Devarakaggalahalli and Road Jakkasandra, Kanakapura Taluk, Ramanagara district, Karnataka.
Flood relief collection drive for KARNATAKA
NSS-DSCE organized flood relief collection drive from 12th August to 14th August 2019 to give helping hand to flood affected areas in Karnataka. NSS volunteer collected money and materials from staff and students of DSCE and handed over the collected items to the needy people.
Independence Day celebration on 15th Aug 2019
Indian independence was celebrated on 15th August 2019 in DSCE at 9:00 AM.Program me started with invocation song. Chief Guest Dr A.Srinivas hoisted the flag. It was followed by the National Anthem.
Dr. C.P.S Prakash, Principal gave his presidential addressee and encouraged the students to show interest and participate in the nation building programmes. The Program was concluded by Dr K.N.Rama Mohan Babu, HOD of ISE by rendering vote of thanks. The program was attended by many staff and students.
Orphanage Visit Name: SAMPATH
On September 16th 2019 NSS-DSCE volunteers visit orphanage called sampath to distribute school bags and desk top computer to the orphanage.
VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION CAMP ON 11th NOVEMBER 2019
Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering – NSS Unit organized voluntary blood donation camp on 11th November of 2019. Associated blood banks are Sagar Hospital blood bank, Lions Blood bank, Kidwai Blood bank, Indian Red Cross Society and NIMHANS. The function was inaugurated by Sri Galiswamy, Secretary - MGVP and Mr. Lion. G. A Ramesh , was invited as Chief Guest for the program, Dr. C.P.S Prakash, Principal, DSCE, HOD’s of various departments participated in the programme. In this camp able to collect 600 units of blood. Kannada Rajyothsava was celebrated at the premises of DSCE on 22nd Nov 2019.
Shree Keerthikumar, Kannada Film actor, Runner of Big Boss reality show on Zee Kannada Channel and Shree Channappa Huddar, Kannada Film Actor, Winner of Sa Re Ga Ma, Music champion show on Zee Kannda, were Chief Guests for the Program and the program was started with procession in the college premises along with chief guests followed by flag hoisting. Various competitions were conducted prior to the day of celebration viz. debate, quiz, singing etc. The Rajyothsava program was conducted at Dr. Premachandra Sagar Auditorium. The program started with inauguration followed by speeches by Chief Guest’s, Principal and Secretary. Various cultural programs were conducted and the event was concluded by valedictory program.
Republic day was celebrated on 26th Jan 2020 at DSCE campus.
Dr. A Sreenivasan, Director, Post Graduation, DSCE, was Chief guest for the program and Dr. C P S Prakash, Principal, DSCE, presided the program. The program was started with invocation followed by welcome speech, Flag Hoisting, National Anthem, address by Chief Guest and Principal, vote of thanks and finally sweet was distributed to all participants.
Youth Day Celebrations on 4th Feb 2020.
Youth day Program was organized on 4th Feb 2020. Swami Nishtatmananda was chief guest for the program and Dr. C.P.S. Prakash, Principal, DSCE, graced the occasion. The program started with various cultural activities and chief guest addressed the gathering on importance of youth in present days. As part of youth day celebration, debate competition was arranged for students and the winners were awarded with prize on the day of youth celebration.
NSS Special camp 2019-2020
NSS organized a special camp from 22nd Feb 2020 to 29th Feb 2020. Various activities were organized during this camp. A government school at Devarakaggala Halli, Kanakapura Road, Bangalore rural, has been adopted for service.
