Industry Conclave - 2025
The “Engineering Conclave - 2025” was scheduled on 28th June 2025 with the theme “Reinvigorating Dynamic Talent Ecosystem.” This initiative reflects the institution’s proactive approach to upgrading the engineering curriculum in line with evolving industry requirements and global market needs, ensuring graduates are equipped with relevant and future-ready skills. The objectives of the Conclave:
- To fine-tune engineering curriculum to meet industry requirements.
- To understand industry expectations and global needs and scale up further.
- To understand and update with changing industry practices in each domain.
- To prepare our graduates for the demands of the technology revolution.
Industry Conclave - 2024
The “Engineering Conclave - 2024: Paving the Way for the Future of Aeronautics! was held on 13th July 2024. The objectives of the Conclave are:
- Fine-tuning the engineering syllabus to meet industry demands. Gaining insights into industry expectations and advancements.
- Updating ourselves with changing industry practices.
- Preparing our youth for the future of technology and innovation.
The conclave aimed to align the engineering curriculum with evolving industry demands and better prepare students for the future of technology and innovation. Eminent speakers, including Dr. Soumendu Jana (CSIR-NAL) and Dr. D. Narayan (ADA, Ministry of Defence), shared their expert insights on industry trends and expectations. The event served as a significant step toward enhancing our academic framework and advancing aeronautical.
Industry Conclave - 2023
The “Engineering Conclave-2023” was organised on 24th June 2023, to get the inputs from the industry experts to frame the syllabus of Aeronautical Engineering. The event featured Dr. Rajagopal, Scientist and Program Director for the Tapas UAV project at ADE, DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, as the distinguished industry expert.
Industry Conclave - 2021
The “Engineering Conclave – 2021” was held on 07th August 2021 in virtual mode by the motivation of Dr. C.P.S Prakash, Principal, DSCE. The inaugural function was done in zoom platform. Dr. Prathik Jain welcomed the chief guest and other faculty members, Dr. Hareesha NG, Prof and Head gave a welcome speech followed by the presentation about department and curriculum of 2017, 2018 and 2019 batch. The external chief guest and internal faculty members gave the valuable inputs for the further strengthening of the syllabus. Chief guest gave his overall opinion about the engineering conclave and appreciated the efforts of the college to involve the industry people to finetune the curriculum. Industry Conclave - 2020
The “Engineering Conclave – 2020” was held on 07th March 2020. The objectives of the Conclave are: 1) To fine-tune engineering syllabus to meet industry requirements, 2) To understand industry expectations and scale up further, 3) To understand and update with changing industry practices, 4) To bridge the skill gap. An Industry expert Mr. Shrinivas Jawahar, Aerospace Engineer with over 33 years of experience in Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India attended this conclave and the following Salient Inputs/Suggestions were made by the him
- • Include topics related to Aircraft Production such as welding and 3D printing in Aircraft production technology.
- • Latest technologies used for composite materials to be included.
- • To make the course more practical oriented.
- • Include core courses in the Aerospace design.
