The department of EIE arranged an online webinar on “Career Opportunities” on 21st December 2022. The webinar was delivered by an expert speaker, Mr. Avadhut Thakar, Software Development Engineer from Uber, Seattle, Washington, United States. He interacted with 3rd and 4th year students and enlightened them about the career opportunities for them overseas.
A webinar on the “Benefits and Functions of Instrument Society of India Students chapter” was conducted on 12th April 2022. The resource person was Prof. Sai Siva Gorthi, who is serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Instrumentation and Applied Physics at IISc. He has also been serving as Hon. Gen. Secretary of Instrument Society of India (ISOI) for the past 5 years.
Mr. Avinash Bhaskaran, a research graduate from Auburn University NASA Space Grant Colloquium Fellow Alabama, USA gave a webinar on 27th November 2021 on the subject ‘COBOTICS: HUMAN-ROBOT COLLABORATION’. The speaker briefed about recent technological advances in the hardware design of the robotic platforms to enable the implementation of various control modalities for improved interactions with humans and unstructured environments. An important application area for the integration of robots with such advanced interaction capabilities is human-robot collaboration. Total 117 Students and the department staff participated in this event.
The Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering conducted a webinar on “Live Interaction - Scopes of an Instrumentation Engineer” on 3rd of July 2021, for the students, research scholars and teaching faculty. The eminent speaker Mr.Dhairya Desai, Senior Engineer from Schneider Electric handled the session.

The department arranged a webinar on “Career Pathway & Study Abroad Opportunity” on 18th May, 2021. The guest speakers for the program were Mr Prasad, Asst. Manager & Mr Joel Narona, Business development division, AECC Global, Bangalore.
A webinar was organized on 15th April 2021 for UG & PG students on the topic “NXplorers Future Leaders Lab”. This program offered the participants to explore real world problems under Food-Water-Energy. The guest speaker for the program was Mrs. Bincy, a Lead Consultant, Learning Links Foundation, Bangalore.
