The Department of Computer Science and Engineering has signed an MoU with the Digital Forensic Laboratory at Bangalore named “Clue4Evidence Lab”. Mr.Phaneendar B N, a Court Commissioned Forensic Expert is the Chairman and Managing Trustee for Clue4 Evidence Foundation. We had a fruitful MoU signed and the points are very clearly mentioned about how students and faculties will be benefitted out of this collaboration. Department of Computer Science and Engineering 7th semester students along with Dr. Ramya R S, Associate Professor, CSE, DSCE and Prof. Sunanda Assistant Professor, visited the Nokia Bangalore University Collaboration (NBUC) lab, on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. As part of their IOT Credit Course elective in the 6th semester, students went to the Nokia labs. Live demonstrations of the transition from 1G to 5G and an in-depth explanation of the 5G Technology with Service-based Architecture were given in the class.

Computer Science and engineering department conducted COGNITION 2022, a coding competition, from 18thAugust 2022 to 20th August 2022. The event was conducted for 1 year students. A total of 61 teams (team of 2) were presented. In1st round, Out of 61 teams 25 teams were selected. In 2nd round, Out of 25 teams 12 teams were selected. In 3rd Round, out of 12 teams’ winner and runner-up were selected. Valedictory was held on 26th August 2022 and prize distribution was done by Dr Amutha S, Professor, Dept. of CSE, DSCE.
