- Dr. Rajeshwari J, ISE Department has been awarded with the Ph.D. on 09/12/2016 from VTU.
- Dr. Rajeshwari J, ISE Department has been awarded Recognition of leadership by SKY fi Labs-2016 .
- Dr. Rajeshwari J & Dr. Sunanda Dixit, ISE Department has been awarded with the Senior Woman Educator & Scholar Award on 8th march 2017 from NFED.
- Mrs. Sharon Christa, Dr. Suma V was presented with best paper award for the paper titled “Big Data Management System for Personal Privacy using SW and SDF”, on 9th January 2016 in 3rd International Conference on Information Systems Design and Intelligence Applications at Vishakhapatnam.
STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS
On 1st and 2nd of November, JSS Science and Technology University organised a hackathon. There was a total of 70 teams participating throughout Karnataka. Adarsh C (3rd Sem, DSCE ISE), Team Leader of Team Caffeine, had secured third place. This event was organised under IIC(Institution's Innovation Council) under Ministry of HRD Initiative. The students had presented their product "Kisan Assist" on 2nd of Nov, 24 hours after they had started. They used technologies such as AI/ML, Neural Networks,IoT, Blockchain, Web Development, etc. The jury consisted of executives and regional directors of Nokia and Star Knowledge. The jury also appreciated the wide skill-set the team possessed.
