Under Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering departmental technical club-(Tele-Sampark) activities, we have organized fourth activity as technical contest in association with IETE (The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers) on QGIS APPLICATION & HOBBY PROJECT MELA for VI Semester students on 5h July 2024, from 9:00 to 1:00 PM, Google form link: QGIS application & HOBBY PROJECT MELA Tele Sampark, ETE Technical Club (google.com) were shared with the students based on the response, 36 batches of two/three students( total 120 students) registered for the event.

The session was formally inaugurated by Dr. Smitha Sasi & Dr. Ganashree T S, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, DSCE. The distinguished speaker delivered an excellent technical talk on the topic entitled “Cell free Networks for Wireless 5G and beyond”.
Since the participants were faculties from all the circuit branches the speaker gave a brief introduction to Wireless Communication and it’s most significant concepts. The topics on Single Input Single Output (SISO), Single Input Multiple Output (SIMO), Multiple Input Single Output (MISO) and Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technologies were covered during the presentation.

Summary: A Three-day Workshop on Python programming with a Practical approach using Open CV, PyQt and Data science in association with Karunadu Technologies Pvt. Ltd. was held from 5th – 7th March 2020 at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Bengaluru. This Workshop aimed at providing its attendee with the basic understanding of Python programming and advanced Object-Oriented Programming concepts, File handling, PyQt GUI basics, Image processing using Open CV, NumPy and Pandas.
