Alumni Meet-2022

Agenda of the alumni meet was to get connected to alumni and also provide a platform for the alumni of the various batches to know each other. The alumni working in similar fields tend to gel together for their professional growth. Alumni provided some crucial inputs on the industry requirement which would fetch the graduating engineer’s, jobs with good pay. Online Alumni Meet-2020

Conducted Online Alumni meet on 30/5/2020, and discussed curriculum, recruitment, software courses, internships, project work etc.

Alumni Interaction

Mr. Pourush Bhat from Gypsee Automotives, an alumni from automobile department visited on 13-03-2020 and interacted with our faculty regarding Electric Vehicls syllabus, workshop on EV, industry visit and internship for our students.

STAR ALUMNI

Mr. Srinish S Talanki, Alumni of Department of Automobile Engineering has developed a “Foot Operated Hand Sanitizer Machine”. Since it is better to adopt the use contactless sanitizers to prevent the spread of Covid-19, it is good to install such a machine in all work places. Srinish has fabricated this machine in his industry Sreenidhi Turners, Peenya, Bengaluru.

Alumni Meet –December 2019

Alumni meet was conducted on 28th December, 2019. Dr. H N Suresh, HOD of Automobile Department addressed the gathering in the Department, later Alumni students shared their opinions with respect to their working environment, current trends and new technologies in Automobile sector.

He owns Vintage, Classic and Luxury Automobiles rental company with over 100 collections in over 11 cities in India.

Alumni Meet on 17-03-2018

The department Alumni meet was held on 17-03-2018 at 11-00AM in the LH 102 and many alumni including the last year I Rank holder Mr. Laeeq Ahmed attended the meet and was graced by our Principal and also he interacted with the alumni. Discussed about the vision,Mission, also about the scheme and the skill sets for automobile students. Alumni also interacted with the current VI Sem and IV Sem students.

MEGA ALUMNI MEET:

Mega Alumni meet was held on 25-12-2017 at Dr. PremachandraSagar Auditorium followed by department Alumni meet.

Alumni Meet - December 2016:

The Alumni meet was conducted with a purpose of having an interaction between Alumni and present Automobile Engineering students and have their feedback on their academic achievements, necessities for up gradation of syllabus and their take-away from the college to their respective fields of their choice.
Event was anchored by Mr. Vijay T., Assistant Professor, DSCE which started with invocation by Dr.Kirana Kumara, Associate Professor, DSCE and presided by Dr. C P S Prakash, Principal, DSCE and Dr. H Ramakrishna, Vice Principal, DSCE. Dr.H.N.Suresh, HOD delivered the welcome address. Following are the highlights of the meet grouped under 3 categories namely Alumni with their professional career, pursuing higher studies and becoming an entrepreneur.

Mega Alumni Meet - 2016:

“Mega Alumni Meet – 2016” which was held on 2nd October, 2016, Sunday in the College, an interactive session with Alumni was held in the Department. Dr. H N Suresh, HOD, addressed the alumni. The alumni interacted with students and shared their higher studies and industrial experience.

INTERACTION WITH ALUMNI ABOUT HIS INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE:

Alumni interaction program was conducted for 3rd and 4th year students on 2nd November 2016 in the department. The students were addressed by Pavan M, alumni of 2015 batch working for Mahindra Truck division, Pune. He shared his experience in Mahindra as a graduate trainee engineer.

INTERACTIVE PROGRAMME ON SAE EXPERIENCE BY ALUMNI:

The interactivesessionfor 2nd and 3rd year students was conducted on 15th September 2016 by Shrinish T. S, alumni of 2016 batch who shared his Experience of being in SAE- BAJA team and also discussed how SAE Baja team has to be formed with sub teams and their responsibilities.
