Functional Verification Technical Manager.
Pradeep Salla manages the Verification team at Mentor Graphics India. He is responsible for driving and supporting the Verification technology team and also develops markets for Mentor Graphics in India. Prior to Mentor Graphics, he has worked in various organizations such as Renesas Electronics, Nokia & MindTree and has a total experience of about 13 years in Functional Verification. He received his Master’s in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and B.E from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (E&C), Bangalore University. His area of expertise include architecting reusable test benches at IP, Subsystem and SoC level, Power Aware verification, Design for Software Debug among others.

Alumni Meet - 2019:
Electronics & Communication department, DSCE has organized the Alumni Meet on 02.02.19 (Saturday). The department level alumni meet is conducted every year in order to reconnect with the Alumni and celebrate their success and various achievements. A special welcome was extended to the Silver Jubilee batch of 90-94. The Alumni started arriving in college by 10.00 am and they were received by our HOD and faculty members and were taken on a campus tour where they revisited the familiar place where they had studied and were shown the various developments that had taken place since then.

Alumni Meet - 2018:
Electronics and communication department, DSCE organized Alumni meet on 31 st Oct 2015 at 10:00AM. The meet was attended by 20 Alumni’s. The Alumni visited labs and other departmental facilities and the staff’s discussed recent progress and activities. After the discussion on the future developments ensued and alumni came up with many suggestions

Mega Alumni Meet - 2017:
Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering hosted its annual alumni meet “DSCE MEGA ALUMNI MEET-2017” on 25th December, 2017 at the institute’s Dr. D.Premachandra Sagar Auditorium in Bangalore. The event was organized by the institute in association with Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering Alumni Association.

Alumni Meet - March 2017:
The meet was attended by 15 Alumni’s. The Alumni’s were welcomed by our HOD Dr T C Manjunath and staff members. Recent progress and development in the department were discussed. Interaction with the Pre-final year students and Alumni’s took place between 11.30 – 12.00 PM. After the discussion the alumni came up with various suggestions such as Emerging technologies should be given as electives to students. Project groups should be formed randomly. So that students will learn to adapt themselves. Lab manuals should not be provided. This would help the students to come up with various solutions for same problem from which the optimum solution can be chosen. Suggested to include open book examination as a part of TLP. Awareness was given on the importance of soft skills such as dress sense, communication skills, team work etc.

Mega Alumni Meet – 2016:
Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Shavige Malleswara Hills, KumaraSwamy Layout, Bangalore -78 conducted “Mega Alumni Meet – 2016” on 2nd October, 2016, Sunday from 09.AM to 2 PM at Dr. D. Premachandra Sagar Auditorium.
From the entire DSI nearly 800 Alumnus were attended the meet and nearly 40 alumni of first batch (1979) has attended, shared their experience.
The program was inaugurated and presided by Sri Galiswamy, Secretary, DSI. Welcome address given by Dr. C. P. S. Prakash, Principal, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, he welcomed all dignitaries and called first batch alumina’s to stage, alumna’s shared their experience, DSCE life etc., all together watched the DSI growth with video presentation.
Dr. C. P. S. Prakash given the presentation regarding available courses/program, research activities, workshops, conference, ongoing research projects and NAAC - ‘A’ grade accreditation to the college. Talked regarding the alumni participation in the college and the department activity like placements, technical talks, symposium etc.
Honored the alumni of DSCE Dr. K. N. Subramanya, Principal, RVCE, Bangalore. He addressed the gathering and pointed out the importance of the alumni in the college activity like placement, technical talks, symposium, research, industrial, lab setups, internship and overall institution growth. He asked the alumni to contribute to the institution in the same. One more alumni of DSCE, Mr. Madan samiath Raman, Director, D P K Renewable Pvt. Ltd was also honored.
