My four years with the Department of Medical Electronics were about much more than an engineering degree. It was where I learnt to question, create, lead and turn ideas into action. From founding Impulse, our first departmental club, to organising events and building friendships and relationships with teachers that have endured for decades, the department gave me experiences that continue to shape me today. Twenty-five years after joining DSCE as a student, I am especially proud to return as an alumnus and entrepreneur to collaborate with the department on AI and HealthTech research. It feels wonderfully full circle, and I look forward to staying meaningfully connected and contributing to the department in the years ahead.
